  2. Value added by suppliers in the global supply chain is confirmed
  3. Supply chain policies and procedures are identified
  4. Performance and relationship history of suppliers in the global supply chain is reviewed
  5. Transportation, shipping and warehousing services for products and materials are identified
  6. Australian and international legislative and regulatory obligations are determined
  7. Formalised and documented contracts, including specifications, are reviewed
  8. Level of authority to perform in the global supply chain is verified
  9. Confirm relationships with suppliers and customers

Performance Evidence

Evidence required to demonstrate competence in this unit must be relevant to and satisfy all the requirements of the elements and performance criteria on at least one occasion and includes

processes in the global supply chain

conducting negotiations and resolving disputes

confirming:

disseminating recommendations to improve global supply chain systems and operations

evaluating outcomes of compliance monitoring and feedback from stakeholders

fostering commercial relationships using approved methods and tools

identifying products, services, markets and stakeholders in the global supply chain

identifying supply chain policies and procedures

investigating non-compliance actions to determine cause

monitoring:

adherence to import and export regulations

compliance to contractual requirements

delivery timeframes

digital system and application use

inventory flow

production specifications and processes

quality control standards for products and services

supply chain risks

transportation, warehousing and distribution centres

obtaining feedback from stakeholders on issues of concern and production practices
